Youthtxt is a project supported by Waterside Action C.I.C. and funded by Hampshire County Council through its Youth Opportunity Fund.

Howard Deans, James McKeon and Dan Lines applied for funding from the Youth Opportunity Fund, with the help of Waterside Action, to be able to pilot the project.

Waterside Action
Waterside Action is a Community Interest Company. It is a non-profit making organisation, founded by Graham Jones in order to bring about Social Action projects across the Waterside.

Hampshire County Council Youth Opportunity Fund (YOF)
The aim of the YOF is to give young people (aged 13-19) control and influence over activities and facilities in their neighbourhood. Funding applications are both made and decided upon by teenagers, to make sure this comes about.
